The Library

In honor of my profound love of literature, and in honor of my mother, who is a librarian.

Below you will find a catalogue of my family's and my favorite books, organized in no scientific order but by categories that worked best to my way of thinking. If you have the same taste in books that I do, it should be a fun way to pick up ideas for some new reads. If you have any suggestions for books you think I or anyone in my family might enjoy, please tell me about them in the comments section of this post.

  1. Hello,
I am a professor of creative writing and an administrator at Perelandra College, an accredited online college dedicated to promoting a revival of honest and probing work by Christian artists.

Your reading list is a wonderful resource, and I would like to link to it from our college newsletter, if you agree.

Also, I'm a novelist. My seventh book, The Biggest Liar in Los Angeles, will be released May 1. One of the major characters is Sister Aimee Semple McPherson, a celebrity evangelist and healer of the early 20th century. I believe you would enjoy the story.

    Thanks for your good work.

    Peace and blessings,

  2. Ken,

You may, indeed, link to my book list from your newsletter. I am pleased that you think it a good resource for your students.

My best wishes to you as a fellow writer. Thank you for stopping by.

  3. Hi! I can view the categories on my screen, but not the book titles. It all looks blank. Any idea why this might be, or suggestions on how to fix it? Love the blog and would love to read some of the books as well.
