Happy Birthday, Mister James!

My baby boy turns one today. How quickly a year runs its course.

How precious every moment with my sweet, sweet son. I love you, my Sweet Baby James.

  1. Sending James Birthday Blessings! How will you all be celebrating? I like to ask people as I am trying to keep my children's birthdays joyous and simple--and not with a ridiculous amount of gifts (although my challenge in that is the grandparents and a few aunts who do not seem to respect my wishes in that area) so I like to get ideas on how to make the day special for them, yet focused on the day instead of how much they will get. So any ideas you have to share would be wonderful! Wishing you all a happy day as you celebrate James today!

  4. Yes, Happy Birthday James! My sweet Anna will be 1 in just 4 weeks. I remember reading your posts near the end of James's pregnancy and being, literally, right there with you!

  5. Thank you all for your well wishes! The birthday boy is napping at the moment, so I thought I'd pop on.

Becky - Happy early birthday to Anna!

Anonymous - I will post in the next week about our birthday celebration. You are right, it can be difficult to keep chidren's birthdays simple, family-oriented, and focused on the child himself and not all the toys and festivities. I think we have hit a nice balance in our home, so I would be happy to share.

Now, off to enjoy the day! God bless!
