Abby’s Baptism

Unfortunately, we forgot to give someone our camera during the actual baptism, so this is the only shot of Abby in the church—with parents, big brother and sister, the proud godparents and our awesome priest!

Back at our house, we did a “rose” theme for Abby’s party. Her middle name is Rose, after St. Therese of Lisieux, whose symbol is the rose. Therese is also Abby’s godmother’s and my patron, so it’s a special connection.

I decorated with the flowers from our backyard and decorated her cake with rose-flavored buttercream, and we had roses on all the plates and cups and petals scattered everywhere!

It was a very special and blessed day!

Thank you so much to all our amazing friends and family who came out to celebrate. It meant the world to us—and someday, it will to Abby, too!
